Bread of Life Project
Community Kitchen
We prepare and deliver made-from-scratch meals and baked goods to individuals and families in need, as well as community organizations serving them.
Like all of our work, this project begins with the simple belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table. Good food, storytelling, and art go hand in hand. The time and attention we give one another can make dignity tangible—a simple reminder that every person is worth the time.

Human Voices Archive
Storytelling & Literature
We collect, preserve, and publish the stories of people in recovery through interviews, transcription, editing, anthologies, and public readings. These are often remarkable, deeply compelling stories—stories worth reading and hearing in their own right.
They also build empathy, restore dignity, and help identify patterns in barriers, unmet needs, and lived experiences that can inform better recovery services and deepen community understanding.

The Common Table Review
Arts & Writing
A literary journal publishing poetry, essays, memoir, fiction, and visual art from people in recovery and other underrepresented voices. We believe creative work has the power to connect communities and reveal our shared humanity.

Community Connections
Grassroots Collaboration
We partner with community organizations, recovery and treatment providers, and other local agencies to connect people with housing, healthcare, employment, food assistance, identification services, and other essential resources beyond our own programs.
Our work intentionally reaches communities that have not always had equal access to arts and creative opportunities. We recognize that meaningful participation does not happen in isolation from the realities of people's lives. When practical needs create barriers to connection, creativity, and community, we want to be prepared to help connect people with organizations equipped to meet those needs.
